Sharefest 2009

I just wanted to remind you all about Sharefest this saturday. We will meet at Love and Justice Church at 9:30 am and leave shortly after to Johnnie L. Williams Municipal Gym at 720 NW 8th street, okc, ok 73102.  We will be painting, landscaping and having a neighborhood cookout.  All of this takes place April 18th from 10am – 2pm.  Please come out and lets serve our community and display the love of Christ to those who do not know Him!

TIME CHANGE!

Hello Everyone,

Remember the time change this week.  We will be meeting at 3pm instead of 7pm from now on starting Sunday January 11.  Also, we will be meeting for corporate prayer at 2pm.  I love you all dearly.

Worship in the Park info

Hey everyone, we will be fellowshiping this Saturday at Earlywine Park. Andrew mentioned this on Sunday at church but we didnt really talk alot about what to bring. We will be supplying the meat, buns, ice and coolers if you all could bring any side items you like; chips and canned drinks and bottled water. If everyone brings a little bit of stuff we should have a mighty fine feast. Invite everyone out and pray that the Lord would open doors for His glorious gospel to go forth to those around us in the park. I love you all dearly. Call me if you have any questions.

Worship at the Park!!! (date change)

Hello everyone, Saturday July 26th, we will be having our first annual worship at the park. We normally have our men’s and women’s bible studies that night but we are all going to come together and have a night of fun, food and fellowship (that is the old southern baptist coming out of me). We will be meeting at Earlywine Park on 119th and South May at 7 pm to eat hot dogs and hamburgers. We will hang out and then end the night filling the skies with praises to our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I hope all of you can make it out.

SATURDATE…

Hey all,

On July 20 and 21, that is a friday and saturday, there is going to be a conference called Saturdate. It is a conference that is going to deal with relationships, spiritual leadership, purity and things like that. It cost 35 dollars per person and charlie hall will be leading worship on friday night and shawn mcdonald will be leading worship on saturday night. Here are the different breakout sessions that they will be having:

• Sowing and Reaping

• What does it mean to be a Spiritual Leader (guys only)

• Your Identity in Christ (ladies only)

• Preparing for a marriage partnership that honors God

• Embracing the call to live and serve single

• Submission – more about humility than weakness

• Living out “Love One Another” (using Jesus as an example in our relationships – i.e. patience, intentionality, humility, seeing others through a loving God’s eyes)

Ok, so here’s the scoop…

My little dinner party thing is Thursday at 7 at New Life Assembly of God. You don’t really have to bring anything, but remember it is a pot luck dinner thing, that means bring your favorite food( anything from pizza to a cassarole to cookies!), so if everyone brings just a little something we will have a big variety and lots of yummy food!

Here are the directions to get there from the Life Church Area…

Take I-240 East and Exit on Sunny lane

Turn left(North) on to Sunny lane and follow it to 59th street (the first street-besides the service road-after you exit)

Turn left (West) on 59th street and go about a quarter of a mile. You will pass a little white church on the right but don’t go there, it is the second little white church on the right called New Life Assembly of God. If you get to the chinese/japanese whatever church on the left you have gone too far!

Thanks so much for all of you guys’ support, you will never know how much yall have impacted my life for the Lord and I appreciate all of your prayers while I am gone!

1) It’s Mother’s Day

2) It’s Shane’s birthday.

WHAT TO BRING: Tanna is bringing cookies, I am bringing crackers and “Dairy Delight Dip” - a family fave, and I’m sure sodas will be there too; you may bring whatever you’d like.
